She said, “Jason, you’re a senior now. It’s time for you to get realistic. You’re not going to be a pro athlete or a famous person. Do you think being a college professor was my dream? No. But it pays the bills. You’re going to need to be smart and get a good job that can pay your bills too.”

I told her, “You’re wrong, I’m not going to settle for that.”

She said, “It’s not settling, it’s being realistic. You’ll see.”

It hurt to know my own teacher didn’t believe in me...

I walked out of that meeting more stubborn than ever…

There was no way I would end up stuck as someone’s corporate slave…

I’d heard online about a small group of entrepreneurs who made all their money on social media and the Internet…

I didn’t know anything about making money online but they were having a big seminar in Washington DC that I could attend…

The idea of going somewhere new where I didn’t know anyone scared me…

What if I went there and found out they were all scammers or something? You never know with these Internet people, right?

But I took my shot, I took my last few dollars and got myself a ticket…

She was speechless.

With her standing there staring in shock, I got back in my Audi convertible and never returned to college. I dropped out VERY CONFIDENTLY because I had the two things college promised but never delivered:

I had a plan to follow.
I had mentorship to support me.

That was 10 years ago.

And today while my old professor is probably still “being realistic” and settling, I’m living out my dream.

Now I’m in my 11th year of online marketing today. I’ve sold well over $40 million online and spent so much money on ads that Google used to fly a top employee of theirs to visit me every other month and take me out to lunch. I know A LOT about ads and let me tell you this:

You CANNOT learn Facebook ads in a week, a few weeks or even a few months.

It takes 1-2 YEARS to get decent at ads and another 1-2 YEARS to get good at them. That’s why so many businesses out there have been burned by social media marketing agencies. These agencies have no idea how to run ads but they take the business’s money anyways and end up losing that money on ads.

The agency owner feels super embarassed and ashamed, and the client fangs come out, I mean some will call you on the phone and yell at you and say, “You are a fraud! You are a crook! You are robbing good people of the tiny profit they do make!” It can get really bad, you don’t want any part of that. But of course… these social media agency courses don’t tell you that.

They also don’t tell you that every time you wanna practice ads, it COSTS YOU MONEY.

Ads are an important online skill but if your first goal is to replace rat race life with laptop life, you do not use costly ads. You use things that are free and fast.

Now before I walk you through my Instagram Financial Freedom Plan, let me clear... People say:

And I want you to know that’s not my intention, my intention is for you to understand this ultimate business truth:

In business, you don’t want to be a generalist, you want to be a SPECIALIST.

Generalists try to offer everything to everyone.

Specialists pick one area and focus down on that.

Think of a normal family doctor who basically helps everyone. A normal family doctor is definitely a generalist and on average they make $174,000 a year. Pretty good, right?

Now think of a heart surgeon. A heart surgeon is a specialist, they only focus on one area, right? How much do you think a heart surgeon makes? According to Modern Healthcare’s last survey, the average heart surgeon makes $555,000 a year.

And that’s an AVERAGE heart surgeon, not even a good or great one. Because the heart surgeon is a specialist, he or she gets paid 3X MORE than the generalist.

As you begin to replace rat race income with Instagram Income here you’ll want to avoid being a generalist.

And in this industry, the generalists are the ones who offer EVERY social media service to businesses. A social media generalist offers Facebook, Youtube, IG, Snapchat, Tiwrtter, Pinterest and more to businesses and so they get paid less.

Imagine you’re a dentist in San Diego and you realize Instagram is the most popular social media out there. So you want someone to help you with your business’s Instagram. You go on google. And you see two options:

Do you see why being a SPECIALIST almost forces clients to come to you? They have a problem and you seem to have the specific solution they were looking for.

This took me 2 years to figure out….I traveled to 7 different countries and talked with over 2,000 different business owners in that time… I also personally mentored over 6,000 students experimenting with this to find the perfect “financial freedom recipe”... Please write this down:

What is an IG Agent?

An IG Agent is someone who gets paid $1,000 - $5,000 a month by businesses to help them with their Instagram and monetize that business’s audience on Instagram.

An IG Agent makes the business look great in their feed and stories by posting cool pictures and videos and captions.

That’s the normal part you’d expect...but an IG Agent has a very particular skill that makes him or her a nightmare for the competition.

An IG Agent monetizes their client’s audience using Instagram DM’s which no social media agency on the planet knows how to do or even does for their clients.

And this is why IG Agents are every business’s “dream come true” right now.

Because as an IG Agent, you’ll know how to use DM’s to monetize your client’s audience. You DIRECTLY make your client money and so your clients love you and pay you handsomely.

Think about it: The Social Media Marketing Agency doesn’t specialize in Instagram, which is the hottest social media on the planet, so it wastes the business’s time on other apps. And the social media agency makes the client spend money on ads when most agency owners are beginners with running ads.

The amount of money an IG Agent using Instagram’s DM feature can make a client is mind-boggling.

In a lot of cases, an IG Agent will make the client more money than entire the client’s phone sales team does! But as the IG Agent, you never have to get on the phone with anybody, you’re making your client all this money just by chatting with customers in the DM exactly like my own IG Agent does for me.

Instagram is quickly becoming the hottest social media on the planet. Just think about you: Which app do you spend the most time on? Instagram, right?

On average, I travel to a new city every 5 days so I’m in a lot of airports and I observe what ppl are doing on their phones while waiting at airports and you know what I see? For the last year, I’ve seen almost nothing but people scrolling on Instagram too.

Businesses are HOT for instagram and it’s only going to get hotter. And you can be an IG Agent for 3 major types of businesses, write these down:

Local Businesses
Ecomm Stores like Shopify Stores
Coaches, Authors and Influencers

All 3 of these businesses use and need IG and almost none of them know how to use IG, especially in the DM’s.

And frankly, no one else is teaching this. This is all I do. I’m OK at YouTube, I don’t use Twitter, my focus is entirely Instagram. And because of that, my personally trained IG Agent makes my company 6-figures a month.

Becoming an IG Agent is so damn cool. And it’s a real business that other business owners are looking to hire for right now.

Listen, every social media agency course out there, whether its from a guru, or sold on some of the big sites out there like Buffer, HubSpot or Udemy, they teach ads.

And we already covered that, ads take YEARS to learn and it costs you more money just to practice running ads.

When you’re running ads for a client, you’re costing them money because ADS COST MONEY. You’re a Profit-Eater to the business, you’re a negative.

But the secret sauce of an IG Agent is what the IG Agent knows how to do in the DM’s.

And DM’s are free to send. You can send as many DM’s as you want to customers and it never costs you a penny.

And DM’s = money as I’ll show you in a second. Just remember that for now, because it’ll be your #1 formula when you’re an IG Agent, ok?

And since sending DM’s costs the client ZERO - it’s free to send DM’s - and since those DM’s MAKE MONEY for the client, you as the IG Agent are the business’s dream come true, a bonafide PROFIT GIVER to the business.

That’s why online and offline businesses are happy to pay you $500 - $5K a month to be an IG Agent for them.
